Maryellen D. Rancourt, Ed.D., has worked in Massachusetts public schools as a teacher and administrator for her entire career. She has extensive grant writing experience for kindergarten grade 12 school districts and technical agricultural career schools. She is the grants administrator for Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School District. This work has allowed her to hone her skills in preparing federal, state, and private foundation grant applications that impact career, agricultural, and technical education to best prepare students for post-secondary educational opportunities and in-demand career opportunities. She also has experience writing grants to support academic programs, including after-school programs that enhance students’ educational foundation. She works with teachers and administrators to better understand programs and their needs. She assists these individuals in completing grant applications so they can develop the skills they need to pursue funding on their own. She has secured several millions of dollars over the past five years for Essex North Shore, impacting programs and funding construction projects to enhance the campus.
