DESCRIPTION:Have you ever felt how soft a chickens feathers are or wondered what sheep say? Join us for our Saturday barnyard spend the day with some of Appleton’s Animals! Stop by anytime between 10AM – 12:30PM for fantastic farmyard meet and greets\, a craft\, learning stations and more! You’ll get to brush our goats\, meet our bunnies\, feed our chickens and card wool from our sheep. \nPlease check in at the entrance of the Carriage Barn to pay with Cash or pay by Card in the Farm Store (Open 10AM-4PM on Saturdays) before heading to the Carriage Barn. Become a Trustees member at the farm on the day of and come for free! \nOnce you’ve paid\, stay for an hour or all day! No additional cost for adults. We will do our very best to accommodate everyone\, but some activities are first come\, first serve. \nWe have picnic tables\, bathrooms\, water\, and plenty of stroller friendly walking paths for you to enjoy. Parking available the Farm Offices for a shorter walk or at the Farm Store for a longer stroll through our vegetable fields. \nCost for a member child is $5 and cost for a non-member child is $10.

SUMMARY:Summer Family Camp Out
DESCRIPTION:Our first Summer Camp out was such a success we had to bring it back again! Families will be able to set up a tent in the Stone Paddock. Experience the fun of camping\, while still having access to bathrooms and some great views of the farm. \nArrive at 7PM to set up your tent and get settled in. Families are encouraged to eat dinner beforehand\, but more than welcome to bring a picnic or snacks for the evening! Just as it’s getting dark we’ll get the fire pit going to roast some marshmallows and maybe tell a story or two. Feeling adventurous? Join us for a night hike before settling in for the evening. \nIn the morning we will provide coffee\, juice and pastries before you help with the morning barnyard chores! \nPlease pre-register so we know how many tents/families to expect. Please note we do not have room for any pop ups or trailers. Sorry no dogs due to the livestock on the property. Any additional questions?
