SUMMARY:Meet the Machines and Summer Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Balers and bucket loaders and harrows\, oh my! Grab the family and spend a summer afternoon at Appleton Farms meeting our machines. You’ll get to climb aboard backhoes\, check out manure spreaders and try out the view from our tractors. Afterwards\, enjoy music and local food trucks! \nWhen you’ve gotten your fill of machines try your hand at some lawn games or get your face painted. Also make sure to say hello to our goats\, sheep\, and bunnies in the barnyard! Limited picnic tables will be available\, but feel free to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets! We’ll have lemonade and water available for all. You are welcome to bring snacks from home\, but food will be available for sale. \nCost for a member family is $20 and cost for a non-member family is $25. One family ticket covers up to 5 people.

DESCRIPTION:Join us Every Sunday at 4PM to see our Jersey heard being milked. See the cows bring brought in from pasture\, get a look at the milking up close and ask our dairy farmer a few questions! Perfect for kids and adults alike. While you are here take a peek in the cheese kitchen viewing room\, visit with our other barnyard animals or have a picnic in the stone paddock! \nPlease note that the time of this program can fluctuate slightly depending on the animals or farmer’s schedule. We recommend getting to the farm a little early so you don’t miss any of the action. Active milking will be going on\, but our Dairy Farmer will do their best to answer all questions while they are working. \nThis event is FREE!
