Farmer For a Day at Appleton: March Vacation

March 15 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)
Choose the days that work for you or come for all 5 days!
$36

In March we are often not sure if we are in winter or spring, but at Appleton Farms, we make the most of this transitional season. There is no better place to spend our farm days than in the kitchen! This camp is for kids who love to cook, explore, and be adventurous in the kitchen, and out on the trails. Each day kids will explore a different aspect of farm to table cooking, trying new foods, and learning about where our food comes from! Our morning will be filled with kitchen time, followed by an outdoor adventure of hiking, animal time, and farm explorations. We’ll return to the house to try our concoctions before heading home. Recipes might include: bread & butter, farm frittata, apple & carrot muffins, homemade apple sauce, and butternut squash soup.

This drop-off program is designed for children ages 6-9 and preregistration is required.

Cost for a Member Child is $36 and cost for a Nonmember Child is $45.
