Sugar Shack Saturday

As we welcome the sugaring season there is no better place to be than the sugar shack. The smell of maple syrup in the air, and the smiles of all your family and friends close by. We love this season and want to share it with you! Join us for our Sugar Shack Saturdays to see how we collect and turn that sap into delicious maple syrup.

Meet at the Carriage Barn at the historic Appleton Farmstead where we’ll learn about the maple sugaring process. Then we’ll take a short walk to the maple tree row where we’ll learn how we tap the trees. We’ll then walk to the sugar shack to see the maple sugaring in action. We’ll be tasting the sap and maple syrup. You won’t want to miss this maple sugaring experience!

Recommended for ages 12 and under (and families) but everyone is welcome! Space is limited. Registration is by the family- if you have 6 or more in your family, please register two (2) families. There are two time slots for this program. One in the morning and one in the afternoon.
