Learn about the scientists and research that helped develop the important ecological concept of “keystone species”—the plants and animals on which ecosystems depend for their survival.
After the film, Wellfleet Bay science coordinator Mark Faherty and Center for Coastal Studies biologist Agnes Mittermayr will discuss examples of keystone species crucial to the Cape’s biodiversity. They’ll be joined by Cape Cod National Seashore ecologist Bob Cook.
