Young Explorers Owl Prowl

$5Enjoy an evening out with the owls at Ward Reservation! Geared towards our younger owl enthusiasts, this guided hike is for children ages 8 to 14 and their caregivers. As the day falls deeper into the night and new animals emerge as others retire, we will walk together through the property in search of screech owls and great horned owls with the help of a knowledgeable guide. Flashlights can help guide you but should have a red cloth rubber banded over them so as not to disturb the animals. Though there is something to be said for the magic that happens when you walk through the woods in the dark!
Owl Prowls will be held rain, snow or moonshine. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
