High Road Farm

High Road Farm is committed to to preserving Newbury’s historic farmscape for its community to enjoy. Owner McDonough Scanlon, owner and operator, has many backgrounds in sociology, nutrition, psychology, and entrepreneurship. It’s a non-certified organic farm focused on growing high quality nutrient dense vegetables with techniques included pasture grazing livestock, crop rotations, and using natural minerals in their soil. High Road offers several CSAs in exchange for 3-5 volunteer hours on the farm helping with seeding, planting, weeding, harvesting, washing, and packing. The farm is open to willing community members.
