Lexington Community Farm
Lexington Community Farm was founded when three neighbors were concerned when Busa Farm was sold to the town of Lexington. The town owns the property and leases to Lexington Community Farm Coalition (LexFarm) to operate it as a community farm. They run a 7+ acre, certified organic, farm growing vegetables, herbs and fruits for their CSA and on-site farm stand located at 52 Lowell St. in Lexington. They welcome the public to visit their farm to walk our farm paths and visit the animals at the neighboring farm, Silk Fields Farm. They also offer volunteer opportunities for teens and adults and run an educational program for children ages 1.5 years old through 3rd grade.
For more information about the farm, educational program and volunteer opportunities visit their website at lexfarm.org.
The Farm Stand is open Tues-Fri 2:00-7:00 PM and Sat 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
