Afternoon Adventures at Appleton Farms

Let’s get outside and learn! “Appleton Farms After School Adventures” offers a chance for kids to explore, learn, and play in the fields, garden, barnyard, and forest. These series’ offer elementary-aged students the opportunity to participate in environmentally focused, farm-based activities led by our experienced education staff. Through educator-guided experiential learning, students explore sustainability, agroecology, life cycles, soil science, history, and more – making important connections to their ongoing learning and development. Activities include plenty of time gardening, hiking, and exploring.

This is an educational afternoon drop-off program for children ages 7-11 offered on Thursdays for five weeks. Program dates are January 5, 12, 19, 26, and February 2. Your fee covers all five sessions. Children should be prepared to spend days outdoors and should pack a snack and dress accordingly.
